These twelve artists didn’t just push boundaries—they reclaimed the diverse roots of folk music, reminding us that it has always been a tapestry of many voices. Through courageous conversations and inspiring collaborations, they created a more inclusive and welcoming space for musicians and audiences alike. Their joyful, collaborative concerts over the past two years have left an indelible mark on Greater Boston’s music community and beyond. We honor their legacy and look forward to introducing the next cohort of The Folk Collective in the coming months.
